High Increase in Violation of Traffic Rules in India This Year

Violation of Traffic rules, it’s a term with which we all are familiar with. Articles or news on this topic can be found frequently on new journals, etc. Various measures has been taken by the government of India to educate people about traffic rules and ensure that traffic rules are followed in the correct manner , But efforts of government went futile. 

Indian roads are becoming dangerous due to increasing traffic rules violation as because of it, Accidents on Indian roads are increasing day by day.  This year, on an average, around 850 drunken driving culprits were caught by the police every month. This number is high as compared to former year.  8407 drunken driving challans were issued by police till 15th October of this year as compared to 8898 challans in whole previous year.

INS Vikramaditya: Latest Sensation of Indian Navy

INS Vikramaditya (R33), (Vikramaditya means “Brave as Sun”) has joined with the Indian Navy force in 2013. Now what should we know about it? That’s what we r going to discuss. Vikramaditya started its journey as a developed Kiev-class aircraft carrier. Kiev-class aircraft carrier means (which is also known as project 1143 or Krechyet) the first class of fixed-wing aircraft carriers which was built in Soviet Union. A fixed-wing aircraft is able to flight using wings that generate lift caused by the vehicle's forward airspeed and the shape of the wings.

Let’s get to the point. Vikramaditya basically built as Baku. Baku is also known as Soviet aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov which is also a modified Kiev-class aircraft carrier of the Russian Navy. She began her service in 1987 but disband in 1996 because she was so expensive that Russian navy couldn’t operate on after-Cold war budget, this is what attracted the attention of India.

After years of negotiations on 20th January 2004 India and Russia signed a deal for the shipment of the Ship. India paid US$800 million for the upgrade of the ship and additional US$1 billion for the aircraft and also for the Weapons Systems. The deal also included the advanced aircraft and anti-submarine helicopters and advanced E-2D Hawkeye system.

India’s First Women-Only Bank: Everything That You Should Know

India’s First Women-Only Bank (Bharatiya Mahila Bank) was inducted by the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The purpose of the bank is simple to help women financially. The initial funding of the bank is 10 billion rupees and the government will control all the activities of this bank. Only 26% women have bank account in India and this bank will help to increase this figure. The bank will give preference to a women clientele. The motto of the bank is to empower freedom of women.

"The sad reality is that women in India face discrimination and hardship at home, at school, at their place of work and in public places. Their social, economic and political empowerment remains a distant goal," said Prime Minister.
